Dear Members,
You are aware that the term of the incumbent Executive Committee of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (West Bengal chapter) was concluded in 2020 but the Election process was unanimously postponed considering the COVID-19 pandemic. As the situation has somewhat improved, we are now about to hold elections for the formation of the new Executive Committee.
As before, the process will be through E voting (as before) so that the members can vote online with greater participation and convenience and mandating the COVID appropriate protocols in vogue.
The Election Committee is constituted of a three member panel with Prof Dr Subir Gangopadhyay as Chief Election Commissioner and Prof Shyamal Kumar Sarkar and Dr Gautam Bhattacharjee as Election Commissioners.
All Life Members with a continuous membership of AROI for three years, provided they have completed their Post Graduate Diploma/Degree are eligible to vote.
For this process, the membership details (LM no, address, email id, phone/mobile numbers preferably with WhatsApp facility) are being updated and may be done by filling up the Membership Updating by Google Form, which is closed now (The last date was 14/09/2021, Tuesday upto 2 PM).
It may be added that a valid Email Id is mandatory for getting the password for E voting.

President 15 years of continuous life membership of AROI. Vice President 12 years of continuous life membership of AROI. Secretary 10 years of continuous life membership of AROI. Joint Secretary 8 years of continuous life membership of AROI.
The posts to which the elections will be held are President, Vice President (2 posts), Secretary, Joint Secretary (2 Posts), Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, and Executive committee members (7 Posts).
The minimum eligibility criteria for the posts shall be as follows :
